Lanzerac Wine Estate, situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands in Stellenbosch, is a 326 year old winery with a very rich history, producing award winning wines of excellence and superior quality. This is a prefect expression of Chardonnay from a single vineyard that has been made in the classic French way, including barrel fermenting in a mixture of new and old oak, batonage that is the stirring of the lees and partially barrel aged. 

All of this is done to produce a wine of great power and depth but whilst still remaining very elegant, it has notes of grapefruit, marmalade and a subtle brioche flavour. The length is tremendous and it is definitely a wine to savour with a good meal.
