Beau Constantia is a boutique winery at the top of Constantia Nek overlooking False Bay in South Africa, they produce distinctive wines from grapes grown on elevated slopes leading to low yield's and great flavours.  The vineyards are cooled by the ocean breezes which help lengthen the growing season and also improve the flavours. 

This barrel- fermented whiteblend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% Semillon is made from grapes grown at high altitude on steep terraced slopes. It is a very special wine with the classic aromas of the Sauvignon coming through, gooseberries, lychees and pear, the oak is just in the background and along with the Semillon adds weight to the wine. One to sit and savour.
