This is a small piece of history as the Caroni distillery that produced it on Trinidad has now closed. Caroni is known for its full soft style of rum. On the nose it has lovely richness of dark sugar underlined by subtle spices, in the mouth the heat of the alcohol has been tempered by age. It has lovely lingering and satisfying finish that will make you want to roll it around a glass and enjoy it slowly with good company.
