New Zealanders can be straight forward folk. Winemaker David Clouston lives in a Black Cottage so when he was looking for a name for his range of Marlborough wines why obviously he chose Black Cottage. The name may be simple but the wine is a lovely highly attractive dose of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with a burst of fruit, gooseberries, lime, tropical fruits underpinned with a fresh acidity and just a little bit of residual sugar to round it off and make it a really enjoyable glass.
