This is a wonderful wine from talented young winemaker David Clouston who lives in a Black Cottage hence the name. It has all the classic aromas and fresh red fruit flavours you cope hope for.  It makes an ideal match with game and duck dishes. I would recommend serving it cold not from a fridge but maybe from your garage or cellar as this will make it's palate cleansing qualities even brighter.
